BACP – British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

In the interest of protecting people, BACP provides The Ethical Framework for good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. It sets and maintains standards for the profession. The Association accredits counsellors training and experience via a rigorous accreditation process that requires continued education to maintain membership. The BACP provides a Professional Conduct Procedure for complaints made against it’s members.
